If you fancy a new, fun, indoor activity then why not come along to the Centre on a Wednesday evening and try out Short Mat Bowls.
Beginners are very welcome to come along and learn more about the game. Sessions cost £2, and run from 7pm to 9pm. tea and biscuits are included, and there’s an array of friendly faces to make sure you feel at ease on your first visit.
Don’t worry about having the right equipment as you can borrow a set of bowls from the club to play with. Footwear without treads is ideal, such as plimsolls, so that the mats we use are not damaged..
